Understanding our commitment
Welcome to the Terms & Conditions page for Home Support Somerset. These terms govern the use of our services and outline our commitment to you. By engaging with us, you agree to these clear, fair principles, ensuring a transparent and reliable partnership. We're here to help make your life easier in Weston-super-Mare and surrounding areas.

Your trusted home support in Somerset
Home Support Somerset is a dedicated sole-trader business, proudly offering comprehensive home help and lifestyle assistance services across Somerset, particularly focused on Weston-super-Mare.
Our services are designed to support your daily life and may include, but are not limited to: household tasks, shopping and errands, dog walking, welfare checks, and general lifestyle and practical assistance. Every service is agreed upon in advance and thoughtfully tailored to your unique individual needs and preferences.

Flexible arrangements, clear terms
All services are subject to availability. You can book our support on a one-off basis, weekly, fortnightly, or once per month to fit your schedule. We kindly ask that any specific requirements or tasks are discussed and agreed upon at the time of booking to ensure we meet your expectations.
Payment for our services is due on the day of service, unless alternative arrangements have been mutually agreed upon in advance. Payment terms will be clearly established before services commence. Please note, late or unpaid fees may result in the temporary suspension or withdrawal of services.

Ensuring smooth operations for everyone
Life happens, and we understand that. We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes to your booking where possible. Please be aware that late cancellations may still incur a charge. Repeated cancellations, unfortunately, may lead to services being withdrawn.
As Home Support Somerset is a sole-trader business, occasional time off for holidays or personal reasons may be necessary. We commit to providing you with a minimum of two weeks’ notice for any planned periods of unavailability. During these times, services will be paused unless alternative arrangements are made and agreed upon beforehand.
For every visit to go smoothly, clients are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to their property. Home Support Somerset cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by a lack of appropriate access.

Prioritising your well-being and safety
Your safety and ours are paramount. Services will only be carried out where it is safe and appropriate to do so. We reserve the right to refuse or stop a service if the conditions are deemed unsafe or inappropriate for any reason.
It is important to note that Home Support Somerset does not provide medical care, nursing care, or regulated personal care. Our focus is solely on home help and lifestyle assistance, complementing your independent living.
While providing services, reasonable care will always be taken. Home Support Somerset is not liable for loss or damage unless directly caused by negligence on our part. Clients are responsible for informing us of any potential risks, hazards, or special instructions pertaining to their property or specific tasks.

Your privacy, our promise
We are committed to protecting your personal information. All personal data handled by Home Support Somerset is managed strictly in accordance with our comprehensive Privacy Policy, which is available on our website.
These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our services or regulatory requirements. The most current version will always be accessible on our website for your reference. Last updated: February 2026.
