Recognising Signs You or a Loved One May Need Help at Home
As people get older, itβs not always easy to recognise when extra support is needed. Changes can happen gradually and many prefer to remain independent for as long as possible.
Hello, I'm Amber!
I run Home Support Somerset as an independent, private service, helping you at home with everyday tasks and offering support where it's needed. That might be helping around the house, spending time with you for a bit of company or just being there so you don't have to manage everything on your own. I aim to provide flexible, person-centred support that helps you stay comfortable and independent in your own home. You'll always see the same friendly face and know what to expect, and I'm there to help where I can.
I've spent 12 years working in residential care and the NHS and I've seen how much of a difference the right support can make. That's why I started Home Support Somerset — to offer more personal, one-to-one help that's built around you. I like to keep things friendly, enjoy a laugh and take the time to understand what matters to you so we can create a plan that makes day-to-day life a bit easier.
You’re welcome to arrange an initial visit at no cost, so we can talk about your needs and see how I can help you.
These are some of the ways I can help. I can visit as often as you need — weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or just occasionally — and each visit can be adjusted depending on what’s needed that day.
